What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

Our media product would aim towards:

•  Cinema
•  DVD 
• Television

The reasons for this is because our product is a visual piece of work therefore it wouldn't work with radio or CD.

Our aim would be to be distributed by a bigger company because it follows  the conventions of the majority of big Thriller films, the fact we have followed the guidelines of what makes a Thriller it means our film would be very popular amongst the Thriller fan base. 

A media institution that might distribute our media product would be MGM because it has distributed films such as:

MGM is a good distributor to use as it is one of the biggest distribution companies known worldwide having been established for many years, this gives us an advantage  our film known to consumers in vaster places, because it is based in America it also makes our film more public to other big companies. 

We could also use our blog to advertise our media in the UK, the blog is free so it is a quick easy way to send links to others. 

Disturbing behaviour is a good example of the type of Thriller film we want to produce, it aims for the same audience it being a 16+ and it doesn't show any explicit detail in scenes.
