Limitless -
The film opens with the production companies and main actors. Which when the film starts we are shown a apartment that has been a bit messed up. As the camera pans up the building Bradley Cooper is standing on top of the ledge perilously waving his shoe over the edge. The Title sequence then begins when the camera quickly swoops down toward a taxi, mimicking him falling. The film's title then appears in the centre of the taxi's windscreen which then rotates around to horizontal.
While this is happening the camera is tracking along a street very quickly with a zoom effect which looks similar to the vertigo technique but used to show speed and time passing.
Skyfall -
The title sequence starts off by introducing the production team, actors, and producers before showing the title of the film. Being a Bond film we are shown a variety of different art styles from blood or ink flowing through water and forming the shape of a skull, to different forms like many graphic matches to make the intro as smooth as possible.
Sin City -
The titles are bold and big, which just emphasise the comic book inspirations this movie is taking from. The opening sequence has some comic book art when the titles come up.
The font they have chosen for the main Sin City title is slightly jagged and at an angle, which given the nature of the film makes you think of a knife tearing through something.
This is far too brief lots more analysis needed Tom Remember your textual analysis key terms do not just describe analyse. I want to see screen shots and detailed analysis.
